The Friends of the Theatre provide vital support, both financially and through volunteer work which includes providing ushers for every performance. The Electric Theatre gives local amateur performers the chance to perform in a professionally-run, state of the art theatre.

By car The A3 provides the main route into Guildford (junction 10 of the M25). To get to the theatre follow signs for Guildford Town Centre from the A3, A25, A281, A322, A323, A31 or A3100. We are located in the middle of the town centre one way system, in between the Friary Shopping Centre and the River Wey, and next to The Rodboro Buildings which house Wetherspoons Free House and the Academy of Contemporary Music. Parking Bedford Road Car Park is just a few minutes walk from the theatre. Parking at The Electric Theatre is strictly for disabled patrons. We provide ample parking for our disbaled patrons. Simply turn in to the theatre from the one way system and park in one of the our disabled bays. Alternatively, please send someone inside to ask the duty manager to open the barrier for you. By train Guildford Station is well served with train services from London (35 minutes from Waterloo station) and the surroundings areas. The theatre is just a few minutes walk from the station, or alternatively there is a taxi rank just ouside the station. By bus An extensive local bus service is available to and from the Friary Bus Station, again a few minutes from the theatre.
