Review of Vivaldi Four Seasons at Christmas by Candlelight

The cathedral was too big Ade's  voice was amazing but the sound system wasn't great couldn't hear her singing so many people left after the first couple of songs, such a shame

Acoustics n sound didn't work in that venue . Can't see her if ur sitting away from front as not tiered

Left half way through, acoustics terrible. Want Money back if possible

You could hardly hear the music the sound system was not up to it . There were a few candles . If you don't belle ask the 50 people who left before me

The reverberation in the Cathedral was awful and made listing very uncomfortable. About 50% of the audience left at the interval, if not before. I felt really sorry for the band as you could see they were also really struggling with the quality of the sound at the venue. Those of us who stayed until the end, made the best of it, but I would not go to this type of event at this venue again.

It was disaster even if the singer  was trying her best, not enough seats we had to wait for another chairs to be added then we've been seated on side where we weren't able to see.

Everyone started leaving before the second song had even started. The sound was horrible and even painful, a shame as the band were really good. I have requested a refund but still no reply to my email a week later.

I have never felt quite so disappointed by a concert before. In fact, it's only out of respect for the artist that we stayed until the interval - something a large proportion of the audience sadly failed to do.

The sound quality was nothing short of shambolic. Spoken word was completely  inaudible and despite the strong vocals of the artist, the songs were distorted and painful to listen to. 

I genuinely felt so sorry for Nathalie, as the audience exodus began soon after the second song. I don't know how she managed to continue with her set during this disruption, which continued consistently throughout the first half -  it is testament to her professionalism that she soldiered on.

There was also an issue with seat allocation at the start of the of the evening, with a number of ticket holders left without seats. Temporary seating was found, however guests were then not in the area they had paid for and some were stuck with restricted view. It would have been so much better to have allocated seating on booking. 

I was so looking forward to what was advised as 'an unforgettable evening in a stunning & illuminated cathedral setting by candlelight that beautifully enhances the timeless music of Adele' however the evening did not meet any of my expectations and I left feeling let down and deeply saddened for the singer and her band.

A fabulous evening, listening to an amazing and talented singer, band and the setting was fabulous!

Amazing night and amazing vocals from the singer. I would definitely recommend it to others 

Would recommend Taryn Charles but the sound in the middle and at the back of the Cathedral was terrible. We had to move to the front to hear her sing. Up need more speakers and test the sound out at different points in the Catherdal. Many people left at the interval
