Join us for an evening of laughter with writer, broadcaster and comedian TAM COWAN - who has enjoyed a successful career in newspapers, radio and television since 1990, most notably as co-presenter of BBC Radio Scotland's award-winning football show Off The Ball which celebrated its 30th birthday in 2024.
As well as a weekly two-page column in the Sunday Post and a monthly football comedy show (Aff The Baw) live at Blackfriars in Glasgow, Tam is in huge demand for stand-up/speaking gigs and is a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, playing to sold-out crowds for the past three years.
He also enjoys dedicating a lot of his time to charity work, chiefly the St.Andrew's Hospice in Airdrie. A lifelong Motherwell FC supporter who enjoys the company of his friends & family, Tam is married to journalist Liz with a 14-year-old daughter Sophie (and a Maltese dog called Casper).
