The aim of the club is to provide a venue for quality jazz provided by properly supported and paid musicians. There are very few of these in the North Devon area.
Jazz is a very broad church, it is not just Acker Bilk or weird, unmelodic noise. It can be soft and sensual or stirring and dramatic and everything in between. Something for everyone.
The club meets on the last Friday of every month, in the upstairs function room of the George Hotel in South Molton. But do check, as very occasionally the last Friday is not available. The best way to make sure you don't get caught out is to sign up for the monthly email newsletter. This gives details of the bands appearing together with local jazz related news . Your email address is not given to anyone and you receive nothing but the one newsletter per month.
The hotel is licenced until midnight.
