Review of GoldCoast Oceanfest 2025

James were amazing. Great to have steps from stage to the crowd for audiences.  Need more exciting and decent bands for next year.

i think the ticket prices did not reflect the event at all. the music was sub par.....for someome who doesnt drink like myself it wasnt too bad but the lineup did not reflect a weekend ticket price. the prices of drink and food was stupidly high. people had no choice but to leave the venue to seek cheaper alternatives. it just wasn't manageable as a family on a budget. the majority of the security staff were brilliant and having worked in this field i know it can be challenging, however there were a few who had obviously been riled up by drunk idiots who were then being nippy towards sober familys coming in the gate, speaking in s**tty tones and being aggressive in there mannerisms, as a sober familys of 4 was walking in. it was like the security wanted to fluff there peac**k feathers and it was cringey to watch. absolutely no need for it. that could have ruined someones weekend. in the same breath i witnessed other security go above and beyond for others. i understand its a long challenging weekend for staff but they know what there signing up to when taking the job on. cheaper alternatives for food and drink should be an option and ticket prices should reflect the acts/bands but it did not.

I enjoyed this as it was my first festival , I'm told the line up is usually better than it was this year .
Food & drink prices could be a bit lower I feel but that's events for you and  you expect it 
I will be back next year for sure

Music wasn't as good as last year, but I had a great time. And sure be back next year 🙂

It was excellent. We were in a large group of teenagers and we had the best time. We made new friends, danced, sang and partied for hours. 
I would love to see Not The Cowboys at the festival next year as it's my Dads band!
