Musselburgh Audio Tour: Hidden Heritage

Explore Musselburgh at your own pace

Beneath the polished facade of Millhill lies a landscape scarred by radical uprisings and the hushed whispers of aristocratic scandal. This is not a standard guidebook. This self-guided audio tour peels back the layers of local history, guiding you through the forgotten battlegrounds and secretive corners that most visitors walk past without a second glance.

Why did the stones of Newhailes House witness a betrayal that altered the fate of a nation? What strange phenomena still cling to the shadows near the Brunton Theatre after the lights go down? And why does a nondescript path near Queen Margaret University hold the key to a century-old disappearance?

Navigate through a mosaic of political rebellion and haunting secrets. You will find your perspective shifted as you track the ghosts of the past. Unlock the hidden narrative of the city and finally see what lies behind the scenery. Start your journey here.
