About

The Longest Yarn: Britain at War

Explore 80 beautifully crafted scenes documenting life in Britain from 1939 to VE Day in 1945. The exhibition has been created under the guidance of professional historians to honour the sacrifice and service of an ordinary generation who did extraordinary things.

Marvel at finger-nail sized uniform insignias, tiny knitted champagne bottles and perfectly scaled historical settings.

Stand alongside eight life-sized, handcrafted figures representing real wartime roles, including a Spitfire Pilot and a Land Girl.

Cost

Tickets are £6.

Children under 3 are free.

The ticket covers entry to the exhibition for your allotted time slot.
