Hue & Cry present a stripped back show full of their hits & classics. This performance will include an eclectic programme of their classic hits, new material and contemporary repertoire performed in their own distinctive style with beautiful arrangements.
Brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane formed Hue and Cry in 1983 and the duo made a huge impact in the late 80's with the albums 'Seduced and Abandoned' and 'Remote' as well as massive hit singles such as 'Labour of Love.' Albums like 'Stars Crash Down' and 'Jazz Not Jazz' ensured Hue and Cry's continued triumph in the 1990's, whilst the release of the hugely applauded 'Open Soul' in 2008 brought them firmly back into the limelight.
Hue and Cry were recognised by their peers when they were recently presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Scottish Music Awards. The band are currently working on a brand new album and have made a welcome return to performing in front of audiences in both their 'stripped' duo and 'full band' set-ups.
"Pat Kane's epic voice is magnificent throughout. 4/5" Sunday Express
"After thirty years they sound better than ever." Lorraine Kelly
