Located at the foot of the south downs, halfway between Haywards Heath and Lewes, Ten miles north of Brighton and only a short drive from the M23. The Winning Post is just a few hundred metres from Plumpton racecourse and the train station with links to London and Brighton. An idyllic setting for a quintessential English village, with so much to offer in the surrounding area, you really should come and visit us. With well kept ale, a selection of Lagers, Cider and Wines to choose from, you can relax in our garden, courtyard or either of our two very different bars and plan the rest of your day. For those feeling a little peckish, we have a simple philosophy; to produce good quality, traditional food which is value for money and does not take forever to arrive at your table. Combine all of this with a proper good old fashioned warm welcome, real log fire (in the winter) and you will find a country pub that is really worth a visit!
