Reviews of The Synergy Centre in Brighton

The Synergy Centre venue information

The Synergy Centre is a 500 capacity community centre and events space opening in the space formerly known as HedKandi on West Street in Brighton. Our live events space is 360 capacity, with a separate 140 capacity community space.

Building on 5 years experience in running world-class ‘conscious’, community based events in one of London’s largest club venues and 3.5 years experience of running a successful youth and community centre in Camberwell South London, The Synergy Centre has recently taken on an interim lease on a large disused and dilapidated venue on West Street, central Brighton.

We are a registered community charity and therefore the venue will have a community focus in the day, collaborating with local charitable organisations to run events and workshops. In the evening we will be promoting some of the best local and national alternative music, applying Synergy’s time-honoured strategy of harnessing the power of creative media to raise awareness of sustainable, ethical and ‘conscious’ lifestyles. In the medium term, we aim to open the rest of the 1780 capacity venue.
