Keighley Blues Live is run voluntarily and for no financial reward by people with a passion for ‘The Blues’ in all it’s multifarious shades and hues. We may stretch the boundaries at times, but, let’s face it, it would be boring if we didn’t! We live at Penningtons Octagon Live, a 300 capacity venue (photos below). Penningtons has a large free car park, plenty of free on road parking, two bars (one inside the auditorium), a regular bus service along the Aire Valley right outside the door, a Premier Inn with its own Brewers Fayre restaurant less than a 10 minute walk along the road and The Airedale Heifer pub/restaurant 50 yards away. Also, The Dalesgate Hotel, Skipton Road, Utley, Keighley BD20 5ER offers special rates to people attending gigs. Phone Stephen Atha (the proprietor) on 01535 664930 for details.
