Whether you want to learn how to make cocktails, watch cookery demonstrations from local top chefs, or just curl up on a picnic blanket and listen to live music, The Great British Food Festival has it all. You can bring your family, friends and even your pet dog; whoever you visit with, there’s plenty going on for everyone to enjoy. Your children can get their face painted, get a modelled balloon or learn how to cook you dinner at the Kid’s Cookery School, whilst you and your partner watch the impressive Man vs. Food competition or listen to one of the festival’s educational food and drink talks. We’re looking forward to stocking up on the finest artisan produce and sampling a variety of different locally grown food, whilst enjoying a beer or two in the sunshine. There’s a tonne of live music and entertainment going on throughout the weekend so you can be sure to get your money’s worth. If you’re feeling pretty handy in the kitchen, then why not sign up for their Cake-Off, where you could be in with a chance of winning one of their fantastic prizes, or go along to watch one of the cookery demonstrations and hone your skills for next year?
