Women of Colour Belfast will host a two-part series of DJ workshops on the 20th and 30th of November at Pavilion Bar on Ormeau Road in Belfast.
Women of Colour Belfast is a community that “connects and empowers BIPOC in Northern Ireland”.
The community is hosting the workshops to “inspire more WOC and non-binary POC to get into DJing”

The first session, taking place on 20th November, will be led by Sophie and Matcha, DJs who are “paving the way for women DJs in the North and have made a big name for themselves.”
The second session, on the 30th November, will be run in collaboration with Foxgluv, a collective founded by JWY that supports underrepresented creatives in the South of Ireland.
Both events will be hands-on workshops for the first two hours, followed by a “mini party” featuring sets by the workshop’s teachers.
