Night & Day team up with Strange Days to bring Swedish signed Last Lynx to Manchester for one of only two UK dates. With their sound evoking urban themes, conjured up in a forest tree house somewhere outside of Stockholm, their songs about friendship, love and the fear of being alone, combined with blissful sound scapes makes for excitingly intriguing, original pop music. Metaphysical Human and Tacetmusic join them.
Since his sophomore release “Red + Yellow =” landed back in 2010, Denis Jones (above) has found himself in ever increasing demand, with last year seeing him headline sell out shows everywhere from from Nurnberg to Madrid. In between working on film scores and teaming up with the likes of Stockport beatsmith Mr Scruff, Denis has been quietly toiling away on his third long player. This will be a great chance to witness some of his brand new material, as his ever evolving sound continues to capture the imagination. Walk and Thugs on Wolves round off the line up.
Manchester's top flight pop shredders Temple Songs (above) return from their well received UK tour to a welcome home part courtesy of Scenewipe and Night & Day. They will be joined by an extensive roster of Manchester's finest, including Young British Artists, Warm Widow, More Trees Please, with all-girl quartet PINS ending the night with a blistering DJ set.
