Having conquered everywhere from Ibiza to New York as one of the fiercest, most uncompromising brands in the darker side of house music, VIVa Warriors has enjoyed massive success with an ever expanding fan base who just cant get enough of that deep stuff.

Steve Lawler is a man in need of little introduction, sitting as he does at the very top of the house music hierarchy in the UK. Since his debut release dropped on John Digweed's Bedrock imprint in 2000, Steve Lawler has been revered for his dance floor primed depth and subtlety, a feature that makes each one of his records an enduring piece of electronic music.

His VIVa Warriors imprint has further cemented the worthiness of his reverence, with both the label and the club nights ranking among the finest. We take a look at two upcoming shows for the acid house movement later on in April 2014.

Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli Detlef @ Sankeys // April 25th

The dark lord of house will be joined by Grammy nominated, Saved records boss Nic Fanciulli (above) at Sankeys in Manchester on April 25th.

As one of the UK's finest exports in electronic music, Nic has worked with the likes of U.N.K.L.E, Kylie Minogue and Loco Dice in his illustrious career, with his driving, twisted techno and house sound proving a sure fire hit on knowledgeable dance floors across the globe. VIVa Warriors favourite Detlef and the Under DJs round off a deeply impressive line up.

Steve Lawler, Detlef and Anek @ Digital // 26th April

Inspired invites Lawler to Digital in Brighton on the 26th, with Detlef joining him for one of his supreme live sets. Having released a wealth of well received hits on labels like As One, Material Series, Starlight Unlimited and, of course, VIVa Warriors, the Greek ambassador of abstract house has enjoyed great success.

His trippy, dubbed out, bass heavy stripped back sound has earned rave reviews (sample it for yourself on 'Kitsom' above), with his passion for his craft exuding through his wicked live performances. Danish duo Anek round off VIVa Warriors trip to Brighton.
