Trancemitta: First Contact brings Paul van Dyk and more to Magna in 2027

Long-running club brand Insomniacz has announced the global icon headlining its new one day dance event Trancemitta: First Contact. The inaugural event from new brand Trancemitta, First Contact will bring trance and hard house heavy-hitters to Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham on Saturday 30th January 2027. 

Ran by Insomniacz, a long running club brand who have specialised in trance and hard house events since 1999, Trancemitta: First Contact features a three hour set from a genre legend and appearances from newer faces redefining the sound. 

Heading up the action is trance pioneer Paul van Dyk with an exclusive 3-hour extended set. Veteran Dutch DJ Sander van Doorn, one of the genre’s most prolific artists in Craig Connelly, versatile UK producer David Forbes, globe travelling deck spinner Amy Wiles, and up-and-coming Nottingham DJ and Insomniacz regular Leonie complete the international lineup, running from 3pm to 12am. 

Trancemitta: First Contact marks the first music event at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham since 2023, and brings the immersive production and signature trance sounds of previous Insomniacz events to one of the UK’s finest industrial venues.
