Tramlines Festival, Sheffield's premier weekend of music and culture, has announced further additions to its already stacked lineup, with comedy leading the charge, along with a host of new artists and local talent. Hillsborough Park is being forged into something truly special this July.
Leading the comedy programme is Dom Joly, bringing the Trigger Happy TV: 25th Anniversary show, alongside certified comedy legends Ross Noble and Reginald D Hunter. They're joined across the weekend by Emmanuel Sonubi, Hayley Ellis, Tom Wrigglesworth, Danny McLoughlin, Tom Ward, Louise Young and Matt Reed, forming one of the festival’s strongest comedy offerings to date.
Alongside the laughter, Tramlines has also announced more artists, with a focus on emerging acts and Sheffield favourites, reflecting the festival’s ongoing commitment to new music and grassroots talent.
Tramlines Festival tickets are on sale now, with Friday and Saturday tickets sold out and Sunday and weekend tickets not far behind. Head to the Tramlines website to secure yours now!

The latest announcement not only provides the laughs but also solidifies the festival's commitment to its doorstep, shining a fresh spotlight on Tramlines’ curated stages and partnerships.
Pattern + Push returns with a full Saturday takeover, exclusively featuring female artists from Sheffield, who will also take over slots on Friday’s T’Other Stage billing. Sheffield genre-defier and regular Mungo’s HiFi collaborator Aziza Jaye is also set to take the festival’s second stage by storm.
Across the weekend, the stages hosted by Slambarz and Live From The Library will also be champions and platform providers for the city's new voices, local performers and alternative programming, which sits in harmonious opposition to the sonic bustle of the rest of the festival site.
Timm Cleasby, Operations Director at Tramlines, said: “Local artists have always been at the heart of Tramlines. Every year, we see people take that first step on one of our stages and go on to build something bigger, and that’s what the festival is all about. The Pattern + Push line-up this year is something we’re really proud of. It’s all female and all Sheffield, and while there’s still more to do, it feels like a proper step forward and something we want to keep building on. At the same time, the comedy line-up this year is one of our strongest yet, with some big names coming in, which adds another element to the weekend.”
Tramlines Festival 2026 will be headlined by Fatboy Slim, Courteeners and Wolf Alice, with performances across five stages from Kaiser Chiefs, Blossoms, Wet Leg, The Vaccines, Reverend and The Makers and many more.
Demand for tickets has been exceptionally high, with both Friday and Saturday day tickets now sold out. Only a limited number of Final Tier weekend and Sunday tickets remain available - HERE
