Tickets on Sale: We Love presents @ Control, Leeds

Leeds’ newest superclub has had a barnstorming Autumn opening period, and that continues in November with the return of Balearic party organisers extraordinaire We Love… on Friday 29th November. 

Following on from their debut stint at the club in October which saw Cassisu and Greg Wilson among the guests, Control in once more be in the presence of dance music royalty in the shape on Groove Armada. The duo have been integral figures in electronic music since the late nineties, one of the few arena filling live acts the genre can boast of and with a wickedly deft dancefloor commanding prowess to boast.

Their love of old acid house, wonky disco and dub soaked techno has always shone through on their recorded material, and their DJ sets manage to combine this rich palette of influences alongside a modern heartbeat. They’ve been knocking out underground smashes for Hypercolour recently as further proof of their status as house music royalty, with this DJ set the chance to ram home that point.

Support comes from one of the most revered of We Love’s sons, the one and only James Zabiela. A player on the island since 2000 and resident at the club since 2006, Zabiela has been a constant presence in Space's Discoteca room for almost all of the club’s tenure in Ibiza. His understanding of the ‘room of doom’ has been an integral part in Ibiza goers clubbing habit – we’re expectant that his technical prowess and command of thundering technoid grooves will be equally as well received in the jaw dropping sound and production on offer at Control.

Rounding off the bill are the bass heavy duo of Gorgon City and Snowbombing curator and party igniter Mar Roberts, and as ever with Control the line-up tells just of half of the appeal with the sensory depriving tunnels and impressive light shows in the GeoDeome all creating a world class clubbing experience.
