Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter has revealed that his latest album titled Mirage will be released on June 5th. It's set to soundtrack a 16-dancer ballet created by Damien Jalet and Kōhei Nawa.
The new album has been described as minimalist electronic, which perfectly exemplifies the changing states of a ballet performance. You can listen to the first release from the project 'Mirage: Part II' which is out now. It isn't the first time Bangalter has embraced the classical realm, as he continues to push himself forward as a composer.
You can listen to the first single 'Mirage: Part II' on streaming platforms now.
