The Temper Trap has dropped a new single, ‘Lucky Dimes’, bringing their nearly decade-long hiatus from making original music to an end. The track follows a series of teasers dropped by the band on social media this week.

Hailing from Melbourne, The Temper Trap hit their stride during the indie rock boom of the late 2010s, with their signature track ‘Sweet Disposition’ from their 2008 debut Conditions soundtracking plenty of childhoods. The Aussie rockers followed up Conditions with a self-titled LP in 2012, along with 2016’s Thick of Thieves, which has remained their latest slice of new material until now, though the band has remained active with touring, remixes, and cover work.
‘Lucky Dimes’ promises to be the first in a new slate of tracks for the Aussie rockers, with more details to be announced soon. Check out the full single below.
