Where: Good Times At The Ridings in Bristol
Yes, it’s next year... But this is already shaping up to be one of 2026’s biggest comedy events. Russell Howard headlines a massive open-air gala as part of Good Times at The Ridings, bringing with him a supporting cast of very special unannounced guests, with the wonderful Cerys Nelmes hosting.
This year's edition with Katherine Ryan sold out fast, so if you want in on Bristol’s biggest comedy night of the summer, especially one headlined by a legend like Russell, then don’t hang about.

Where: Fairfield Social Club in Manchester
Another one for the diary - but you’ll want to lock this in now. Northern Irish comic sensation, and host of the Tea With Me podcast, Shane Todd, brings his brand-new show Hold Me Back to Manchester next February. Armed with his signature wit, razor-sharp storytelling, and a complete inability to take himself seriously, this show is going to be one for the ages.

Where: Stratford Play House in Stratford-upon-Avon
Closeup Comedy brings four of the UK’s best-loved live acts to Shakespeare country. Adam Rowe and Josh Pugh deliver their powerhouse sets, with Lindsay Santoro bringing that Midlands charm, and Freddy Quinne bringing his signature darkness as host. Where: St Luke’s Church, West Norwood in London
Star of After Life, Mock the Week, and more, Kerry Godliman headlines a night of uplifting stand-up in one of South London’s most atmospheric venues. Expect big laughs, warm vibes, and special guests, including the hardest working criminal on the circuit, Mad Ron, all hosted by MC Ben Van der Velde.

Where: Markinch Town Hall in Markinch
Direct from the Edinburgh festival and his last smash-hit nationwide tour, Tom Stade, never misses, and this rare Scottish date is a guaranteed belter.

Where: Creatures Comedy Club in Manchester
Australian storytelling dynamo Aidan Jones brings his acclaimed Edinburgh show Chopin’s Nocturne to Creatures Comedy.
"I grew up playing classical piano, but failed my conservatory audition at 18. I spent some time focusing on MDMA, then started stand-up in 2011. During the pandemic, I came back to the piano, so I've combined them. It's classical piano, presented with jokes by an Australian dickhead with a beard."

Where: Under Canvas at Victoria Park in Southport
A festival highlight at this year’s Southport Comedy Festival, Deirdre O’Kane brings her no-nonsense Irish storytelling to the big top. Observational comedy at its sharpest, with big personality and even bigger laughs.
Comedic fireball Deirdre O’Kane is mad for road, mercilessly mining hilarity from the human condition. Will she conquer the chaos or revel in it? Tame the mayhem or “O’Kane it”? Either way, you’re in for a night of relentless laughs fuelled by warped personal insight.

Hunter headlines this Closeup Comedy night in Birmingham at the start of next month, and he is joined by a top-tier support lineup that includes the excellent duo of Susie McCabe and Elliot Steel, with the wonderful Danny McLoughlin on MC duties. One of the sharpest and most original voices in UK comedy right now, Harriet Kemsley, who has developed her scattiness into a powerhouse form of stand-up. Where: The Hat Factory Arts Centre in Luton
The Desi Central Comedy Show returns with a fresh lineup of top-tier British Asian comics. The names are no joke either; there are heavy hitters like Tez Ilyas and Nabil Abdulrashid, as well as rising stars like Shalaka Kurup and Dinesh Nathan, too. Basically, expect smart takes, cultural commentary, and crowd-work gold in this uplifting night of laughter on the infamous Desi Central tour.
