The only city centre festival with its own beach, Beached Festival brings the seaside to Manchester for one (hopefully) sunny day over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend.

Confirmed to headline this year's event are Sunderland's punchy post-punkers The Futureheads, fresh off the back of their acapella and acoustic 'Rant' tour.

Joining The Futureheads are a host of acts representing an eclectic mix of genres, including electro pop trio The Whip, reggae-ska-hiphop whirlwind Kid British, ska-punk outfit The Naughtys and Manchester six-piece Frazer King.

Also confirmed are a bevvy of acts including Hey Sholay, Little Volcanoes, The Quangos, Dirty North, Rawcuss, Jim Adama, The Minx, Seeing Hester, Turrentine Jones, Little Volcanoes and John Ainsworth.

This year's event will also include a dance tent, where you'll find the likes of Instra:mental, Scratcha DVA, Zed Bias, Heavy Rain, Adapt, Total Garage, Hide & Seek, This City Is Ours, Chow Down and more.

Advance tickets for Beached Festival are just £12, and are available through Skiddle now.
