Seven years after their landmark Rock en Seine debut, The Cure are heading back to the French Capital to headline the festival’s final night on Sunday 30th August 2026.

Still one of the most enduring bands in British rock, the Goth icons will bring the main stage at the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud in Paris to a masterful close, true to their reputation for delivering expansive, generous performances where the intensity never wanes, and hits never end.

This announcement comes at a key time for the band, too. Robert Smith and co. returned in 2024 with their fourteenth album Songs Of A Lost World, a record that proved their mix of raw emotion and dark grandeur still hits as hard as ever. With rumours swirling of a 2026 follow-up, Rock en Seine could land right in the middle of another fresh chapter for the band.

Expect Smith, Simon Gallup, Jason Cooper, Roger O’Donnell and Reeves Gabrels to deliver a show that digs deep across nearly five decades of era-defining music, but with a foot still firmly set into the band's present sonic endeavours.

For Rock en Seine, this is a statement booking. With the 2025 edition barely wrapped, organisers are already turning eyes to next year. The full lineup will be revealed soon, but with The Cure confirmed to shut it down, 26th - 30th August 2026 is already locked in for us as one of the biggest weekends on the calendar.
