It's been a huge year for Gorillaz, after their massive 25th anniversary celebrations, where they performed 4 mega shows in a takeover at London’s Copper Box Arena, which saw them play select albums in full. Then, if that wasn't enough, Gorillaz graced fans with their House Of Kong exhibition, exploring the virtual band’s headquarters
However, just when you think it couldn't get any better, it can, as Gorillaz has just relaunched their game 'Kong Studios'. Sharing a teaser yesterday (Tuesday 9th September) on YouTube. This is set to be a 'gamified fan experience', hitting some real nostalgia for OG Gorillaz fans.
The game allows you to explore the rooms and spaces of 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel, plus it will also be the go-to place to find out everything you want to know about Gorillaz, first.
The first time 'Kong Studios' launched was in 1998, which saw the website shut down after a long run in 2008. However, with 'more to come very soon', check out the live relaunch of 'Kong Studios'.
