Kevin Parker’s Tame Impala project performed an all-acoustic set for the first time as part of NPR’s Tiny Desk mini-concert series.
The Australian indie stalwart, with six acoustic guitars, performed fan favourites ‘Borderline’ and ‘New Person, Same Old Mistakes’, and ‘Loser’ and ‘Dracula’ from new album Deadbeat.
Parker sang and played acoustic guitar, joined by another on acoustic guitar, a ukulele, an acoustic bass, and percussion - also on acoustic guitar - with musicians also providing background vocals.
The Tiny Desk concert was released on Friday 17th October, the same day Tame Impala released fifth studio album Deadbeat.
