As one of the most revered Croatian Festivals on the calendar, Outlook has since 2008 been a mecca for the true dubstep obsessive. Billed as the perfect skankers paradise, Outlook has evolved over the years to stay on the cutting edge of bass music's many exciting developments.

Stoke on Trent based DJ collective Sub Faction, a crew that focus on all elements of contemporary sound system music are at the helm of an exclusive Outlook Launch Party, fanning the flames of anticipation ahead of the Croatian festival.

Heading the line up will be Outlook favourite and one of the most distinctive voices in dubstep - Distance. Since getting snapped up by Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu imprint back in 2006 via enjoying stints on Hot flush and Boka, Distance has been using mashed up overdriven guitars, sparse beats and dense textures to produce a barrage of rib-rattling dubstep bangers (check out the massive 'Twilight' above). The Chestplate label boss is better placed than most to unleash a set of significant force.

Deep Medi's new signing Compa joins him. Hailed recently as one of the 'Saviours of Dubstep' by Mixmag, Compa's stripped back, tough spacial sound has proven to be one of the most exciting developments in the scene (hear that above), time and again stepping up with foreboding bass workouts designed for big rig dynamics.
