Stratford to host popular taco festival this September

Some of London's top taco traders are coming together for a day dedicated to Mexican street food, with spicy specials, tequila, DJs and more at Riverside East.

The London Taco Experience heads back to Stratford this September, taking over social hotspot Riverside East, situated in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, for a celebration of Mexican culture and some of the capital's best taco traders.

The event returns on Saturday 19th September, following a sold-out instalment back at the beginning of August, and will once again showcase a lineup of street food favourites, alongside margaritas, micheladas and a packed programme of live entertainment.

Confirmed food traders include Nopalito, MexClub, Awebo!, Polanco, Los Gordos and Tacos MX, with more vendors still to be announced.

Alongside the tacos, visitors can explore a dedicated hot sauce showcase, enjoy performances from a live mariachi band and keep the party going with DJs soundtracking the day.

The event will make use of Riverside East's outdoor terrace, rooftop space, and indoor arena, giving guests plenty of room to eat, drink, and soak up the atmosphere, whatever the weather.

To give more people the chance to attend, the day has been split into two sessions, with visitors able to choose between 11 am - 4 pm or 5 pm - 10 pm.
