Southport Oktoberfest returns to Victoria Park this October

Bavarian beers, giant steins, live oompah music and traditional food are all on the menu as one of Southport's biggest autumn celebrations returns for another weekend of Oktoberfest fun.

Southport's biggest Oktoberfest celebration is heading back to Victoria Park this autumn, promising a weekend of Lederhosen-donning entertainers, foamy steins of beer, and more.

Returning on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October, the popular event will once again transform the park into a giant Bavarian-themed beer hall, following another lively edition in 2025.

Across three sessions, visitors can expect live performances from The Amazing Bavarian Stompers, one of the UK's best-known oompah bands, alongside DJs, stage hosts, competitions and plenty of audience participation throughout the weekend.

Food and drink will be at the heart of the celebrations, with an even wider selection of imported German beers and lagers available this year, served in traditional two-pint steins. Authentic Bavarian favourites, including bratwursts and pretzels, will also be on offer, alongside wine, prosecco, cider, spirits, soft drinks and alcohol-free options.

The fully heated marquee will accommodate more than 500 seated guests per session, complete with traditional wooden benches, themed décor and costumed bar staff to recreate the atmosphere of a classic Oktoberfest celebration.

Guests are also encouraged to embrace the occasion by dressing in traditional lederhosen or dirndls, with a best-dressed competition taking place across the weekend.
