Running for 27 years, the Southport Weekender has become one of the nation's most well loved events, a celebration of all forms of music with a soulful stint that this year saw the likes of Faith Evans, Carl Cox, Kerri Chandler, Moodymann and the indomitable Chaka Khan star, amongst many others, at this year's festival (check out our mix from when Gilles Peterson played there in 2013 below).

2014 has been a year where they've decided to take their clubbing remit far and wide, and as well as their sun kissed paradise Suncebeat at the Garden Tisno in Croatia, they will be returning to their spiritual home of the North West (the weekender has since relocated to Minehead) with brand new event Camelot.

This installment sees them take their soul grooves to Camelot at Park Hall, just outside of Chorley on Saturday 30th August, presenting an all day and night extravaganza that will bring a stunning ensemble of artists to the site which includes 120 hotel rooms on site and

Headlining will be all four of the Basement Boys, DJ Spen, Karizma, Teddy Douglass and Tommy Davis, play together alongside a live performance from Jasper Street Company Live, a truly epochal gathering for anyone who loves the swing of house and disco licked with soul.

French edit maestro Dimitri from Paris, R&B icon Trevor Nelson, deep house doyen Ron Trent, London house exponent Grant Nelson and Mancunian tag team extraordinaire The Unabombers number the scintillating support, for what will be an unmissable day.
