South East Asian food and culture festival returning to London in September

Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand - South East Asian countries are absolutely stunning, each with unique and much-loved food and culture. And the three-day festival CelebrASIA is returning to London for its third year to give you a taste of them all. 

Going bigger than ever before, the festival is set to offer street food, cooking classes, DJ sets, dance, comedy, national dress parades, walkabout performers, games, talks, and much more.

Returning to London's Battersea Power Station from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September 2026, the festival will be free to enter.

The largest South East Asian festival of its kind in the UK, CelebrASIA will feature expert panel sessions curated by Anna Sulan Masing on fashion, culture, literature, and food, plus comedy sets, cooking classes with Ranie Saidi (founder of The Malay Cook supperclub), and more. 

Comedians taking to the stage include Vera Chok from Malaysia, Ria Lina from the Philippines and Sam See from Singapore.

There will also be a programme of live music, dance performances, street food, an artisan market, and crafts workshops - try bamboo basket weaving, Batik painting, and Baybayin script writing, with textile weaving, 3D coral reef-making, and pewter bowl workshops for the kids.  

Over 35 food and drink vendors will be onsite, including popular traders from the festival's previous events such as Malaysia’s Eat Lah, Mandy Yin x Chick’n’Sours, Singapore’s Old Chang Kee and the Philippines’ FiliGrillz, plus stalls from Ellen Chew (Singapulah/Rasa Sayang), Turo Turo (Philippines), and Farang (Thailand). 

Sauces, spices, gifts, accessories, and snacks will also be available to purchase from independent traders as part of the artisan market.

The Grand Tour trail returns this year - perfect for families, the fun interactive trail of South East Asia features colour information boards for each of the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries positioned around the Power Station, ending with a quiz and the chance to get your souvenir passport stamped at the ‘Arrivals Desk’.

Extending the programme, a week of film screenings will take place from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th September at The Cinema in the Arches and The Cinema in the Power Station, featuring films from Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand that are rarely available to watch in the UK.

Located in Zone 1, the venue’s nearest station is Battersea Power Station, so getting there will be easy.
