You probably know BST Hyde Park for its blockbuster headline shows, which this year include the likes of Maroon 5, Pitbull, Duran Duran and more. What you may not know, however, is that for eight days during the festival, when the superstars aren't in town, the gates open to everyone for BST Open House.
Returning from 29th June - 2nd July and 6th - 9th July, Open House takes over Hyde Park between the festival weekends, transforming the site into a free-to-enter hub of culture, activity and entertainment, bringing together fitness, family-friendly experiences, live music, cinema screenings, and big-screen sporting moments to the heart of London.

Across the fortnight, visitors can catch live performances from Norman Jay MBE & The Good Times Band, Dub Pistols, Daft Funk Live, Trojan Sound System, and the London African Gospel Choir's Bob Marley Reimagined, as well as the Official Pride in London Pre-Party featuring Sink the Pink, Tete Bang, LCV Choir & Trans Voices on 2nd July.
The popular Outdoor Cinema returns throughout Open House too, screening everything from Superman and Jurassic World Rebirth to Wicked: For Good, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and Paddington in Peru. If you'd rather swap cinema for Centre Court, Wimbledon will also be shown live on big screens across both weeks.
Elsewhere, the programme stretches far beyond music and movies. Sir Mo Farah will lead a special Run With Mo! event through Hyde Park, while other wellness offerings include free yoga sessions, basketball, tennis, and cricket. PDC Presents The Hyde Park Darts Championship also returns for a second year on Wednesday 8 July, featuring top darts players Luke Humphries, Fallon Sherrock, Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting, each paired with celebrity teammates from Emma Paton to Behzinga, with presenter Joe Swash also returning to defend his 2025 title.
Don't think they've forgotten about the little uns either! Across the two weeks, there's plenty of dedicated activities for children and families, including storytelling and theatre with Chickenshed: Tales of the Shed, shows from Little Angel Theatre, and more.
And that's only the headline acts. With hundreds of hours of free entertainment taking place between the major BST Hyde Park concerts, Open House has become one of London's best free summer events in its own right. Head to the BST Hyde Park website for the full programme and schedule.
