SPEED announce 'ALL MY ANGELS' EP and share lead single ‘PEACE’

Hardcore powerhouse SPEED return with new EP ALL MY ANGELS, out Oct 23 via Flatspot/Last Ride, led by explosive single “PEACE”

Australian hardcore band SPEED have gone from toplessly trotting the globe to writing a new three-track EP, titled ALL MY ANGELS, which lands on October 23rd via Flatspot Records and Last Ride Records. Produced and mixed by Elliott Gallart at The Chameleon Studios, the record finds the Sydney quintet tackling grief head-on, reflecting on the loss of three close friends while doubling down on the band’s central ethos: unconditional love, lived without fear or regret.

Lead single “PEACE” is out now, backed by a video directed by Thomas Elliott (which you can watch below). The track wastes no time - bouncy one-drop riffing and unflinching vocals carrying the full weight of its subject matter, whilst also making you want to spin-kick the closest available object.

On the lyrics, vocalist Jem Siow shared: “Three of our close friends passed away in 18 months - but, amidst this devastation, I was overcome with a deep sense of clarity and peace... Their lives were short, but I know our experiences together were lived with deep, meaningful intention, which has in turn empowered us with more meaning and purpose while we are still here... This sense of calm and focus exists like a sharpened, refined weapon at my disposal - poised to attack life and its many hurdles with precision and intention. And it has only been refined through the process of loss.”

2025 is already stacked for SPEED. From September 15th, they hit the road with Turnstile across North America, alongside Amyl & The Sniffers, Mannequin Pussy, Blood Orange and Jane Remover on select dates. The band will also celebrate the EP release on October 25th with a show at roller rink Xanadu in Brooklyn, joined by End It and MSPAINT, before heading to Europe for an 11-date tour with Malevolence, Dying Wish and Psycho-Frame.
