The S2S Winter Wonderland event is primed to bring a slab of electronic musical goodness to Chorley's Park Hall on Boxing Day, with three arenas bringing the musical ruckus. We've decided to have a look at one of those to offer some further insight into the event, exploring the hosue and techno rhythms on offer in the Medieval Church.

Top of the bill in this room is Josh Butler, a man who has rapidly sown his eagerness to explore melody and bass with devastating aplomb. Whether remixing D&B megastars Chase & Status or bringing the house heat with collaborations with the likes of Hector Couto and Darius Syrossian, Butler has been behind some of grooviest beats in recent times. He's not bad too shabby the decks too, as the above podcast for Pure Pacha demonstrates (he plays Pacha London on Friday 13th December).

He'll be joined by the duo HIM_SELF_HER, another pair that know a thing or two about house music in it's most evocative state. Their 2012 banger 'Gone Too Long' saw support from Pete Tong and Jamie Jones, and their productions have since seen the light of day on imprints such as Crosstown rebels, Eskimo and Elite, whilst their series of free edits on their soundcloud page (below) have been readily lapped up by fans.

The rest of the line up includes Hot Creations starlet DeMarzo, Hardman & Deavall, Brian Murphy, Just George, Ste t and Sere. The rest of the event is also stacked with high end talent, with vocallist Abigail Bailey, UK Garage royalty Oxide & Neutrino and Dirtybird's Cause & Affect. Head here for further details.
