Gorilla in Manchester welcome the force behind the Pets Recordings imprint, Catz 'N Dogz for a bass-filled musical bonanza on Saturday 23rd August.
Gorilla is one of the city's most popular venues and has hosted some of the most exciting parties with the biggest electronic music artists headlining. Gorilla is situated under the railway viaduct round the corner from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Road.
Pets Recordings was founded back in 2010 by the Polish duo with the aim of promoting the music they love, irregardless of whether the music sold or not. Their determination to set the label apart from the rest by paying attention to artwork, podcast series and both vinyl and digital releases, Catz 'N Dogz have proved that they mean business
Catz 'N Dogz are currently at the top of their game. Their refreshing approach to creating bass-driven house music has earned them a loyal legion of fans. They've featured in Resident Advisor's Top 100 DJ poll and have received massive support from some of dance music's most respected artists (see why in their Boiler Room set above).
They have successfully integrated deep house with their techno roots. Their individual sound has not gone unnoticed and Claude Von Stroke soon snapped the boys up onto Dirtybird label, where they then remixed his huge 'Who's Afraid Of Detroit?' under their 3 Channels alias (above).
Joining Catz 'N Dogz is the always on point deep and bassy house of A1 Bassline, with lauded Kaluki trio Pirate Copy rounding off a sublime label showcase from one of the best imprints in the business. Grab your tickets here.
