Brighton Music Conference has year on year been one of the best places to learn about dance music in the UK, with panels, producer sessions and discussions all helping shape a better understanding of the industry, with everyone from professionals to complete beginners gathering to learn more.

It's not just about looking at the all-round professional work that goes into this beautiful industry though; there's also a strong party connection too and a whole load of fun on offer as the sun goes down. The BMC has a cluster of events taking place after both days of the conference, with some leading names taking part.

The Thursday sees the afterparty spirit taken quite literally with the return of Wunderground's Pier sessions (one of the highlights of our Brighton Music Conference 2016 review) featuring a game of DJ Blind Date - where a group of DJs will battle it out against each other to win the love of their favourite promoter. The same night, everyone's favourite party-starting Geordie, Patrick Topping, will be playing at The Arch for Take.

The following day, Brapp and BMC present a full live show from Manchester grime collective LEVELZ at renowned local club Patterns, whilst Wiggle celebrates its 23rd birthday with the likes of Terry Francis and Eddie Richards.
