Manchester's enormous metropolitan extravaganza prepares to get underway once more on June 6th and 7th. With an inordinate number of huge acts hooked in again for the two dayer at Heaton Park, this is looking like another bumper season for the Warehouse Project affiliated festival.
Matching chart topping, mainstream giants with up and coming, hotly discussed newcomers has become Parklife's calling card, and something that will feature on the Sunday in particular, with cutting edge live music dons Now Wave rubbing shoulders with Warehouse Project to present the Sounds Of The Near Future stage.
Headlining will be one of our favourite producers, Caribou, whose marriage of pop and avant garde electronics never ceases to astound. Twisted R&B songstress and Mercury Award nominee FKA Twigs gets involved too, with Kanye West collaborator Hudson Mohawke's glossy, hip hop compositions another surefire hit.
Everyone's favourite nu disco champion Todd Terje brings his mood enhancing sounds to the forealongside The Olsens, with Aussie one man sensation Chet Faker, Tourist, Bob Moses and Tei Shi rounding off the cutting edge line up. With a hell of a lot more on over the weekend though, we recommend you head here to check out the full Parklife line up.
