Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne will be laid to rest today, with the funeral commencing at 1 pm in his hometown of Birmingham. The city marked the sad day with roads being closed since 7 am, as fans were able to pay their respects. Since the news of the death (26th July), fans have gathered from around the world in Birmingham to capture memories where they have laid heartfelt tributes on the Black Sabbath Bridge.
The funeral procession will take place along Broad Street in the city centre, where the hearse will make its way through Birmingham to the Black Sabbath Bridge and bench, accompanied by local musicians Bostin’ Brass. The funeral will then take place privately with Ozzy's close friends and family.

The Lord Mayor of Birmingham Zafar Iqbal spoke yesterday, saying, 'We’re going to pay our last respects and homage to one of the greatest living legends of Birmingham. He put Birmingham on the map. He put Aston on the map.'
The funeral Procession will also be livestreamed for fans who weren't able to make it to Birmingham, so they can pay their respects online.
