Ocean Colour Scene & guests latest announced for Liverpools 'On The Waterfront'

With support from Cast, Embrace, The View, Republica, The Sway and Keyside; this Ocean Colour Scene gig at Pier Head in Liverpool is going to be a special one!

Following on from 2023's wildly successful sell-out shows, which attracted over 45,000 people to Merseyside shores, 'On The Waterfront' is returning to Liverpool’s Pier Head in 2024, kickstarting the summer with another series of stunning shows and live performances. Today Ocean Colour Scene have been announced for the Friday edition, and they're bringing a stacked cast of bands along with them!

Joining the Riverboat Song rockers will be huge 90s names like Cast (returning for a hometown show), Embrace, The View, and Republica, alongside a couple of Liverpool's best new local bands like The Sway and Keyside. It's going to be a riotous day of massive tunes on Liverpool Pier.

With so many huge bands from the 90s Britpop era, this one is a guaranteed arm-in-arm singalong from start to finish. Whether it's to Republica's 'Ready To Go'; The Views 'Same Jeans'; Embrace's 'All You Good Good People'; Cast's 'Walkaway'; or headliners Ocean Colour Scenes 'The Day We Caught The Train'.

On The Waterfront 2024 is absolutely stacked. With huge gigs already announced with the likes of the legendary Deacon Blue; Geordie rave master, Ben Hemsley; and the king of Scouse comedy, Paul Smith; if you arent going to at least one, then you'll be missing out on one of the best events on this years Merseyside Calendar.
