We were rightfully excited when we heard that Leeds already incendiary nightlife would be bolstered by a new club. And now the tickets are on sale and the first set of announcements about the line-ups are released for Control, our anticipation has been ratcheted up even further.

Although the full details about certain events are yet to be revealed, the appetite has certainly been whetted by the announcements concerning five between now and the end of the year. Things kick off on Saturday 14th September with Control Saturdays, but really hot up when the hugely hyped Solomun brings his Diynamic stable down to the party on the 4^th October (main ticket link). Label mates H.O.S.H and Stmming join him, and for anyone that has witnessed the neon magic the DJ and his label have been creating in Ibiza on Tuesdays at Sankeys will know what to expect.

The next event announced also swaggers to a Balearic beat, when We Love... bring their wolrd famous party vibes down on the 25^th October. They’ll be bringing genre benders extraordinaire, French house legends Cassius and king of the re-edit Greg Wilson for a typically off kilter multi-faceted disco soundscape.

Looking further ahead two starts of the radio touch down, with Pete Tong jetting in on the 15th November and then king of bass, 1Xtra's Mistajam, bringing his Speakerbox showcase on December 5th.
