Nike’s World Cup video advert has gone viral.
With less than a week until the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off, the highly anticipated video ad, ‘Rip The Script,’ from the sports clothing giant has gone viral for its production value and many famous faces.
The six-minute World Cup video features football stars and Nike athletes Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Bruno Fernandes, Vinicius Júnior, and Virgil van Dijk.
Also featured are Eric Cantona, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Ronaldinho, and Didier Drogba.
Surprisingly, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer makes an appearance despite not making the England squad for this year’s tournament.
The ad follows footballers rebelling against the production team, frustrating the director as they flaunt their skills, crash other film sets, and disrupt a meeting between execs and Ronaldo and American basketball star LeBron James.
Other famous faces to cameo include Kim Kardashian and her son Saint, rappers Travis Scott, Central Cee, and Young Miko, singer LISA, Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), and Channing Tatum as Haaland's stunt double.
The Nike ad follows Adidas’ nostalgic ad in May, which features Timothée Chalamet, David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Jude Bellingham and Bad Bunny.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off on Thursday 11th June.
England is set to play Croatia (17th), Ghana (23rd), and Panama (27th). Scotland will play Haiti (14th), Morocco (19th), and Brazil (24th).
Rather than sit in the house or the local, why not get out to a screening with food and music for a proper night out?
