You can stop scratching your eyes, February is already here. That’s right, January has flown by, and with that the silhouettes of flags, food stalls and main stages of festival season can be seen looming in the distance.

We have a loaded New On Skiddle for you this week, spurred on by a slew of festivals opening their ticket queues to eager party planners. Some of the tantalising weekenders ready for tickets to be punched include the biggest dancehall and dub-soaked festival back in Milton Keynes, the return of Parklife to Heaton Park, and an Edinburgh techno staple making another turn to a lush Croatian garden resort. It’s not all festivals this week, as we still have album launches, club nights, and solo sets worth checking out.

Reggae Land

When: Saturday 1st - Sunday 2nd August 2026

Where: The National Bowl in Milton Keynes

Expect: Two days of reggae, dancehall and dub greatness

A heavy-hitter every year, Reggae Land is back. Shaggy, General Levy, Deekline, and Shenseea are among the names lighting up the Milton Keynes National Bowl, for two days of reggae, dancehall and dub.

Boogietown

When: Saturday 11th July 2026

Where: Apps Court Farm in Walton-on-Thames

Expect: Smatterings of disco, funk and soul by a scenic riverside

The scenic Apps Court Farm in Surrey welcomes Boogietown for another installment of disco, funk and soul. Old school legends like Gloria Gaynor, Soul II Soul, and K-Klass are taking to the stage this summer.

Parklife Festival

When: Saturday 20th - Sunday 21th June 2026

Where: Heaton Park in Manchester

Expect: DJs, bands, multi-genre madness with a new stage added

Summer isn’t quite complete without the multi-genre staple taking over Heaton Park. This year’s Parklife is set to feature names like Calvin Harris, Skepta, Shy FX, Armand Van Helden, and Zara Larsson, and are boasting a new stage to boot.

GemFest

When: Thursday 11th - Sunday 14th June 2026

Where: Charlton Park Estate in Malmesbury

Expect: High bpm's and underground, grassroots festival chaos of the best kind

Back for its third year, GemFest is gearing up for another foray of soul. The festival, which began life as a private 21st birthday party, brings four jam packed nights to Charlton Park Estate.

Elrow Scotland

When: Saturday 26th September 2026

Where: Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh

Expect: A kinetic club night, feast for the senses

Ibiza’s club nights are trading the White Isle for the Scottish capital in September. Elrow Scotland will also be the first time that the multisensory ‘Hallucinarium’ concept will be unleashed in Alba.

FLY Festival Glasgow
