Leading music journos Mixmag continue to impress us with their run of discerning London raves. Having welcomed the likes of Seth Troxler, Heidi, Hot Since 82 and the Defected Records crew to various venues around the capital in the past few months, judicious rave heads have been blessed with a wealth of banging parties and righteous headliners.

Friday 20th June sees Mixmag secure the abilities one of the most decisive forces in dance music at the moment - Scuba (check out his DJ set from We Love... Space above). As the head of the vital imprint Hot Flush, Scuba has been playing an important role in the underground since back in 2003.

Initially starting out in the fledgling dubstep and post UK garage movement, Scuba has continued to pioneer bass music, moving later into house and techno. His own productions range between euphoric techno and lean house burners, whilst his newly launched 'Live Show' sees him add another string to his bow of extensive talents, as he blends rich synths and striking melodies over cutting edge beats and low end bass notes with considerable skill.
