Kowton is Joe Cowton, aka Narcossist, a 25 year old from the Lake District now residing in Bristol. His music attempts to incoporate both the rhythmic energy of garage and the depth and intensity of techno. His tracks have recieved support from the likes of Mary-Anne Hobbs, Kode 9, Grevious Angel, Blackdown, Ben UFO, Selector Dub-U and Rob Booth among others.

This winter expect to see a number of 12"s from Kowton, most notably Metronome on Nakedlunch Recordings, home of Breakage and TRG among others. Sunblind will finally be available via new Manchester label Mindset. There are also plans for a number of other high profile releases in the coming months, check his myspace for updates.
