So here we are - the first day of October. Where has this year gone? Thankfully, London superclub Ministry of Sound has unveiled a month's line up of pure dancefloor heat to stave off the onset of the cruel winter months.
Things kick off on Friday 3rd October with a label showcase from Above and Beyond's Anjunabeats imprint, with Super8 & Tab, Jaytech and Orkidea supplying some top drawer trance. Rinse FM celebrate their 20th birthday with Route 94, Skream and Dimitri From Paris the following day.
US techno veterans Derrick May (witness him in action above) and Kenny Larkin join Maribou State and Kry Wolf on the 11th (more on that here), whilst old school house music masters DJ Sneak and Todd Terry descend on the club the next day.
Those that like their beats music fast, furious and with plenty of bass will no doubt be all over Drum&BassArena's 18th Birthday with d 'n' b dons Fabio & Grooverider and Matrix & Futurebound at the helm on the 25th.
The Gallery’s October schedule welcomes Dutch trance lord Ferry Corsten on October 10th, Israeli psytrance specialists Infected Mushroom on the 17 Oct, Argentinian progressive house hero Hernan Cattaneo and King Unique on the 24th, and more top notch trance from European trance favourites Cosmic Gate & Rank 1 on the 31st.
