Maximo Park to play Dreamland in Margate

Newcastle indie dons Maximo Park are a band that don't need much of an introduction. Having been part of the onslaught of alternative rock that dominated the noughties music scene, their blend of synths and rip-roaring riffs combined with Paul Smith's distinguishable vocals to this day make the band one of the most recognisable of the genre. 

Unlike the majority of indie acts from that era who are now considered a nostalgic trip, Maximo Park have steadily been releasing material since their inception. Their extensive back catalogue of post-punk revival tracks has just been added to, as the band's sixth studio album, Risk To Exist proves that their charming pop sound is still stand out.

The quartet invite fans to join them in a celebration of this album release, with a very special performance signalling the new era of Margate's iconic amusement park Dreamland. Maximo Park will headline the venue, beginning a year of exciting live music acts and bringing a whole other dose of fun to the amusement park.
