It has been announced that ice hockey team Manchester Storm will be playing their home games at the AO Arena for the 26/27 season, marking their return to the venue they used to call home.
This is the venue where in 1997, Manchester Storm set the attendance record for ice hockey in Britain which is 17,245 people. It follows a successful season in which the team reached the playoff finals for the first time in 24 years.
