Organisers say they’re committed to returning in 2027 for 20th anniversary edition.

Live At Leeds has announced that it will not take place in 2026 to "allow [them] to move forward with the best possible version of the festival for the future."
In a statement shared on social media, Live at Leeds (LAL) said their 'In The Park' and 'In The City' festivals will be taking a break in 2026.
Live At Leeds: In The Park 2025, held at Newsam Park, saw performances from Bloc Party, The Snuts, Manic Street Preachers, James Marriott, Sigrid, and Yard Act in May.
Live At Leeds: In The City 2025, which typically spotlights smaller artists, was held across over 20 venues in the city, welcoming Fat Dog, Jalen Ngonda, Divorce, Warmduscher, Katy J Pearson, and Panic Shack in November.
Today (15th December), LAL has shared that neither festival will be held in 2026. However, in the statement, LAL reassured fans that the team is "fully committed to coming back better than ever for our 20th anniversary in 2027", saying they are excited to share plans soon.
“Both festivals are organised by a small, passionate team of music lovers, who have been proud to deliver amazing festivals every year for the last 18 years. However, we have decided that we need to pause for a year to allow us to move forward with the best possible version of the festival for the future.
“We know how important both festivals are to the city, to the independent businesses they support, to the emerging artists they showcase but most of all to the fans of live music who support us year in year out.”
