Elijah collaborates with AlphaTheta on Yellow Squares DJ system

UK DJ, writer and cultural commentator Elijah has collaborated with AlphaTheta on a limited-edition version of the OMNIS-DUO all-in-one DJ system, featuring a bold Yellow Squares-inspired design. The exclusive unit is available now, priced at £1,399.

The collaboration takes cues from Elijah’s ongoing Yellow Squares project, which began in 2021 as a series of thought-provoking Instagram posts exploring creativity, collaboration, and culture within the music ecosystem. What started as short-form reflections has since evolved into a full creative platform, including a book, album, visual installation, billboards, and even remixes of Elijah’s own work.

The OMNIS-DUO’s bright, minimal aesthetic reflects the project’s emphasis on positivity and creative growth, extending Elijah’s mission to inspire independent artists and rethink how music communities connect. Speaking about the collaboration, Elijah said:

“We’re at the beginning of another wave of accessibility for DJing - whether that’s for casual DJs at home or the innovators taking music out of traditional club spaces. This is about finding new ways to platform music, artists, and audiences.”

The limited-edition OMNIS-DUO retains all the functionality of AlphaTheta’s original model, offering full standalone performance capability without the need for a laptop. The announcement follows unrelated news that AlphaTheta has temporarily suspended distribution of the latest CDJ-3000 firmware update due to reported playlist display issues, which the company is currently investigating.
