La Discotheque announces massive disco line up for NYE
Candi Staton, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco and more have been confirmed to play at Manchester's Albert Hall.

Following on from a confetti and glitterball filled sold-out launch party earlier this month, La Discotheque has confirmed the details of its return to Albert Hall for New Year's Eve.
Sticking with the theme of welcoming some of disco's most influential acts along with a string of relevant DJs with a penchant for grooves, the event has pulled together some serious talent for the end-of-year send off.
‘You Got The Love' and ‘Young Hearts Run Free’ singer Candi Staton is scheduled for a live performance, whilst Derrick Carter will be on hand for a Derrick Does Disco set. Have a little listen to his disco set from Sub Club above for a taste of the funk to come.
Alexis Taylor from Hot Chip has been announced to perform his Prince Tribute - a whirlwind through some of the late, iconic singer's greatest hits. After a standout performance at the first La Discotheque, Horse Meat Disco have been invited back to play on NYE.
Krystal Klear and PBR Streetgang will also be providing some major moments as the Grade II listed building gets transformed into a disco paradise.
