Just Skank, the name alone says it all. Established as one of the leading bass music soirees in the city, the Manchester based club night prepares to hook in a quintet of scene experts to soundtrack Joshua Brooks on New Year's Eve.
Slightly off the beaten track of Manchester's bustling Oxford Road, Joshua Brooks boasts an intimate basement setting fully equipped by a skull rattling Void Air Motion sound system, an unprecedented marriage when it concerns a reet decent New Year's Eve skank.
Homing in on the decks from the summit of the line up is dubstep don Commodo (hear him working the controls above). From carving out releases on Mala's Deep Medi imprint to blowing the genre apart with his epic smash '$pace Cash' (below), Commodo has sounded himself out as one of dubstep's prolonged talents.
Keeping with the Just Skank mould, Compa wades in with some deep as you like, rolling riddims to keep the night in full swing, whilst Kajiu, R.Lomax and Salvo are also on hand to sweep the floor with plenty more of discerning underground cuts. Grab your tickets here.
